DATA MANAGEMENT

Fundamental to our solutions is the central and secure management of and access to data created throughout the use of VB Enterprise. The process starts with the creation of unique ID's (UID's) by Verify Brand or imported from another source and adding and associating related product to create item unique and item level electronic records, which can be easily accessed from the data repository via the Web.

UID's are created at the data repository and distributed via secure internet communications to printing or production locations, related product data is input and associated with the UID's (by VB Enterprise software or a third party) and returned to the data repository. Downstream at a distribution center additional data can be input and associated with UID's (with VB Enterprise or a third party), e.g. shipping information, UID status can be revised and the electronic records update again via secure internet communication.

Data management in a secure and central location is critical to enabling a Web-based, flexible, easy-to-use and ubiquitous solution.

This platform can support simple hosted or customized hardware and software platforms or Verify Brand can work with a brand owners or governments IT department to establish the required platform at their designated location. Our dedicated platform has the following key attributes:

• Verify Brand has deployed a data management platform that assures security and unlimited scalability for even the largest commercial or government customers.
• Clustered SQL 2008 database SAN configuration, virtual Web servers with off-site disaster recovery
• A second physical data center location is used for near real time disaster recovery.
• All data is contained in a unique customer database and housed in a secure isolated rack.
